Nimcat Networks Appoints David Sullivan as

Vice President of Sales

 

Proven Executive to Lead Sales Team and Grow OEM Channel

 

Ottawa, Canada (April 19, 2005) – Nimcat Networks, the premiere provider of embedded, peer-to-peer (P2P) call processing software, announced today the appointment of David Sullivan as the company’s new vice president of sales.  Mr. Sullivan will report directly to Mahshad Koohgoli, Nimcat’s chief executive officer. 

 

In his new role, Mr. Sullivan will be responsible for aligning Nimcat’s sales organization to facilitate customer and partner growth. Mr. Sullivan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from more than 23 years of creating, directing and executing sales and channel partner strategies within the telecommunications device and service provider industries.

Mr. Sullivan has had a distinguished career, having served in senior sales management and executive positions within the telecommunications industry. Most recently, he was the vice president of North American sales and support at AudioCodes where he oversaw sales, customer support and business development. 

Previously, Mr. Sullivan was vice president of business development with Sirrus Internet Solutions where he managed the initial strategic product sales and marketing efforts for CORBA- and JAVA-based security software to support e-commerce applications.  Mr. Sullivan has also held sales management positions at BBN Planet (Verizon), Sync Research, Wiltel Communications and AT&T. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.
